Everett

With over 100,000 permanent residents, Everett is one of the main cities in the metropolitan area and the Puget Sound region. Everett’s economy is centered around aerospace manufacturing, maritime activities, the technology sector, and the service industry. The largest employer in the city is airplane manufacturer, Boeing. Everett remains a major employment center for Snohomish County, but has also become a commuter town for Seattle in recent decades.

The city hosts several annual events and festivals, usually during the summer months, including a waterfront farmer’s market. There are an abundance of parks, beaches and trails to explore, including Everett’s best island, known as Jetty Island, featuring two miles of shallow, warm beaches, tons of wildlife and a bustling kiteboarding and kite flying scene.

The Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place Central is an up and coming redevelopment project designed to create a sustainable and unique commercial, recreation and residential community.
