Incorporated in 1983 and originally developed as a golf course community (featuring an 18-hole golf course designed by renowned course architect, Ted Robinson), the City of Mill Creek is a physically active community with 10 attractive neighborhood and community parks, more than 23 miles of nature trails, and recreational facilities that support a wide range of interests and activities.

The award-winning Mill Creek Town Center, named “the best lifestyle center in Washington state”, offers more than 80 shops, dining options and services, including one of my personal favorites, Central Market. From mountains of fresh conventional and organic fruits and vegetables, to tanks of live Dungeness crab, oysters, fish, clams and lobsters, you’ll find it there! The Town Center is a thriving pedestrian-friendly shopping destination that offers residents and visitors an exceptional community experience. The regional economy comprises businesses in several sectors, including aircraft design and manufacturing, technology, biomedical, and travel and tourism, among others.

Primarily residential, the city is composed of a mix of single-family homes, townhomes, condos, and apartments set in a lushly landscaped environment. Real estate prices range from as little as the low $300,000’s to well over $1 million for homes in an exclusive neighborhood.
